The Houston Chicken Wing Festival brings together local restaurants, food trucks, and small businesses for a live wing cook-off while Houston shows up to eat, vote, and celebrate. Produced by Bayou City Hangouts — a Houston 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting underserved small business owners. A portion of all proceeds benefits Kids Meals Inc.

Your Wing Tasting wristband gives you one wing from every competing vendor at the festival. The more competitors, the more wings you get to taste. Wristband holders also get access to all festival activations, the eating contest, and the live awards ceremony.

Competing vendors are judged across five categories: Best Classic Buffalo, Best Dry Rub, Hottest Wing, Most Creative Flavor, and People's Choice. A panel of local judges scores the wings throughout the day and the People's Choice winner is determined by guest votes. Winners are announced live on stage at the awards ceremony with cash prizes
