The Houston Chicken Wing Festival is a one-day community celebration bringing together the city's best wing spots to compete for the title of Best Chicken Wing in Houston. Taste wings from competing local restaurants, enjoy live music and a professional DJ, watch live contests, and vote for your People's Choice favorite — all in one place.

Our vendor fees are kept intentionally below market rate so local Houston small businesses can afford to show up and compete. To keep our events this way we rely on the generosity of our community — your entry donation directly supports vendor grants, educational resources, and low-cost high-attendance events like this one. We suggest a minimum donation of $5 but give what you can — every dollar helps us show up for Houston's small businesses.

Competing vendors are judged across five categories: Best Classic Buffalo, Best Dry Rub, Hottest Wing, Most Creative Flavor, and People's Choice. A panel of local judges scores the wings throughout the day and the People's Choice winner is determined by guest votes. Winners are announced live on stage at the awards ceremony with cash prizes
