Our Mission
Bayou City Hangouts Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that removes financial and social barriers for Houston's underserved entrepreneurs. Through low-cost vendor markets, free business courses, and mentorship programs, we've helped 1000+ small business owners in Houston launch and grow since 2024. Vendor fees are kept intentionally low and net proceeds fund our free small business grant and advisory programs.

Since our founding, Bayou City Hangouts has grown into a hub for Houston's small business community. We've hosted local businesses from candle makers and bakers to jewelry designers and wellness practitioners — giving them an affordable, low-barrier place to launch and grow. Nearly a third of our vendors return to sell with us again, a sign that our markets deliver real value to the entrepreneurs we serve. Every market we host directly supports our mission: creating opportunities for Houston's emerging business owners.
